SHS Student Fair

DASMARIÑAS CITY, PHILIPPINES – With the national roll out of the Career Guidance Program for Senior High School (SHS) last Sept 14, the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas gears up to assist its incoming senior high school students in their choice of a senior high school track and a school where they can enroll in 2016.

As a kick off to the Career Guidance Week slated on Oct 12-16 as per DepEd Order No. 41, the Division will hold the Senior High School Students Fair on Oct 9 at Ugnayang La Salle, De La Salle University – Dasmariñas. The activity aims to provide the necessary career guidance and transition assistance to all Grade 10 students from 11 public secondary and 49 private schools in the City, who comprise the first batch of senior high school students set to choose their SHS track on the National Senior High School Early Registration scheduled on Oct 19-23.

“The Division believes in the importance of guiding our students, who may be experiencing transition anxiety, as they evaluate their options for senior high school tracks which they may take and the different schools where they can possibly enroll in next year,” said Dr. Manuela S. Tolentino, OIC- Schools Division Superintendent.

Taking to heart the role of the Division in providing career guidance to the students, the Senior High School Committee headed by Mrs. Leylanie V. Adao prepares to accommodate not only the 11,000 incoming senior high school students from both public and private schools but their parents as well in the whole-day fair which shall feature the different schools in the City that will offer senior high school in 2016.
